Chocolate Cherry Energy Bites
Looking for a new protein ball recipe?
The other day my daughter asked for “chocolate balls”. We have made many different chocolate protein ball recipes in the past but I wanted to try something new. We came up with these chocolate cherry energy bites.
Chocolate Cherry Energy Bites

Ingredients
1 cup Raw almonds
2 tbsp Hemp hearts
3 tbsp Cocoa powder
2 cups or 20 Medjool dates
¼ cup Mini chocolate chips
¾ cup Dried cherries
Directions
Add almonds, hemp hearts and cocoa powder in food processor or high powered blender and process until coarse meal texture.
Add dates and dried cherries and process until mixture is slightly sticky and sticks together when rolling into a ball. If too dry add more Medjool dates. If too sticky add more hemp hearts.
Add chocolate chips and mix together until combined.
Roll into balls and place on parchment lined baking sheet.
Place in fridge until hardened, 1 more hours. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
